Endometriosis

This is a study of patients with refractory endometriosis for whom surgery is the next therapeutic option. It aims to determine how a combination of medication and an oral contraceptive reduces pelvic pain and functional impairment as compared to placebo. The research site is in Decatur, Ga.

This investigational medication research study is for people with bipolar depression. Participants must be diagnosed with bipolar I disorder and be 18 to 65 years of age. The research site is in Media, Penn.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome with Diarrhea

This is a phase II study treating abdominal pain in patients with irritable bowel syndrome accompanied by diarrhea. Participants must be 18 to 75 years of age and experiencing abdominal pain of moderate severity. The research site is in Encinitas, Calif.
